The gaming weekend is here, and Xbox isn’t holding back! From Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, 2025, Xbox is hosting another exciting Free Play Days event. This stacked weekend features blockbuster titles and indie favorites that cover action, strategy, adventure, and teamwork—accessible to millions of players, whether you’re an Xbox Game Pass member or just curious to try out new games.

What Are Xbox Free Play Days?

Free Play Days is a recurring, limited-time event giving Xbox gamers access to select games, with no additional cost. Some games are exclusive to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members, while others are open to all Xbox players, no membership required. In addition, your progress, achievements, and Gamerscore are saved—so if you choose to purchase the game later at a discount, everything carries over!

Xbox’s official blog post by Kyle Ocean details every title available during this event, the benefits, and how to get started. Whether you love multiplayer mayhem, cooperative chaos, tactical strategy, or a classic JRPG adventure, there’s something to add to your weekend gaming schedule.
